BYLAWS

1.    $50 annual membership and Club House dues are due on the Cinco de Mayo for all members and $100 on the 16th of September every year for all general members. A two for one discount for the 16th of September payment will be allowed when there are two general members in a household. A one-time $25 Application Fee will be charged to all new members, this fee will also be assessed on members that are 90 days in arrears.

2.    In order to join the club, a candidate must be recommended by a current member in good standing, referred to a sponsor or officer for membership, and is required to sign an acceptance of the bylaws.  Only sponsoring members or officers may accept a candidate for membership. All Club House rules fall under the Bylaw rules.

3.    All new members must attend one meeting to be introduced by their referring or sponsoring member in order to complete the membership process.

4.    All members are allowed to vote on any issues during a general meeting. Any proposals passed by a majority of the members must be ratified by the majority of the Original 2005 Founding Officers of the PVRMC in order for the said change to take effect.

5.    Removal of any member can take effect for any reason by the majority vote of the Original 2005 Founding Officers, due to any inappropriate behavior of a member.  Once membership has been revoked all emblems and the membership card must be surrendered to the PVRMC with no refunds.

6.    Membership is open to men and women of any race, at least 21 years of age, with any style or make of motorcycle. Those who wish to join without a motorcycle may join as a “Road Captain” or “Road Captain Assistant” and must provide assistance to the riders of the runs. (Transport luggage, food, beverages, tools, etc. and trail behind in the event of break downs for repairs or trailer motorcycles to repair shop. This Road Captain position requires that the member complete at least 50% of the club’s runs on a yearly basis.

7.    Bylaws may be added, modified, or deleted by a simple majority of the Original 2005 Founding Officers of the PVRMC.

8.    Any officer vacancy may be filled by a simple majority of the current officers and notification to all members shall be made as soon as practical.

  1. Any member who wishes to be added to the agenda of an officer’s meeting to be heard regarding any issues they may have; may do so providing that the member notifies the Secretary, seven days in advance of the meeting. The member will be allowed to talk, uninterrupted during an open session. After the member finishes, the officers will be given the opportunity to ask questions, but will not respond to the member’s request until a closed session discussion is completed. The member will be notified as soon as practical with a response.
